what's failing me?
i try to be here once a week, and dumbfounded each time. i tried to be there last night and why wasn't i. i try to choke on myself a little lesser. and tried to say hi without knowing why.
tried to be in your face on that emotional quest. trying to manage a whisper in your presence.
i have not pushed it, or have i? i should have crossed the line. it's now a daily escape for my utmost desires.
lol. just look at my emo-butterflies.well anyway, both my girls had to visit the vet last week. it was pretty stressful for us cos both of their situation was considerably bad.
dollie had an appointment to extract her baby teeth (both rows) and mewkie had this terrible lump on her abdomen and she appeared to be in extreme pain.
brought mewkie to the vet last wednesday after work. the doctor told us she's
guessing that it's hernia. that she can't be 100% sure but it's either skin allergy or hernia, and the latter is more possible since allergies usually spread throughout the body instead of a focused area. so she suggested that we let mewkie undergo an op. of course we didn't agree immediately. everyone knows that a surgery will involve general anaesthesia (GA). and dog owners will know that GA, for pooches, is the most risky part of the operation procedure. your dog may or may not wake up from it, especially since yorkies are small breeds, a tiny dosage can kill them.
when asked how we can determine that it's hernia since she's uncertain too, she said we can't until we cut mewkie's abdomen and check if there's really a hole. wtf, really. are we really gonna believe her unsure statistics and go ahead with the risky op? crazy. when we appeared in doubt, the doctor got kinda pissed off. she said if we still feel that it's allergy, she can put mewkie on steroids (apparently it heals skin allergies the fastest) first, but immediately reiterated that she still feel it's hernia, and suggested that we perform the op. ni tmd.
so we brought mewkie home, and went online searching for the symptoms for hernia. it's stated that dogs with hernia will appear depressed, lose appetite and vomit. none of these happened to mewkie. she was eating everything that was made available to her, and ever so bouncy. also, what's important is that hernia wounds will disappear when pressed, and reappear immediately when released. a hernia condition will only deteriorate until a surgery is performed. however, mewkie's lump not only stayed put when pressed, but also started losing its swell.
i wanna slap that doctor.
