今天，我去了超市，因为明天有（potluck）聚会，所以每个人都需要准备一道菜。
在收银处付款时，听见许多玻璃瓶敲到地上的声音。好奇的，我回头望了一望。
有一位中年红毛妇女，一手扶着推车，一手携着好几个装满了商品的朔料带。她似乎有些困难，于是我就往她那儿前去，伸出援手。很可惜的，她拒绝了我的好意。
我回到收银处，准备拿了我的商品就走了。她突然恍然大悟，拍了拍我的肩，频频向我道谢。其实我根本没机会帮到她，但是即使只是问了一问，她也感到很安慰。
如果她不是红毛人，我想她不只不领情，还会骂我‘鸡婆’。
真是完美的一天。

advanced birthday
thank you to the many loving beings in my company who took the extra effort to brighten up the day for me. gloomy stormy week it has been. at least it didn't wrap up being just as bad.
