but i will have to put myself on a diet that removes all possibilities of even a single trace of chocolate for 3 months, at least? but this won't start till i complete my current course of Reese's and Royce's. you won't want them to go to waste do you?
this is me right, how unbecoming. given that i am also supposed to be off my lens for at least a week due to conjunctivitis that i was recently diagnosed with. ffs, i just can't for i-don't-know-why.
back to chocolate, i don't know if it means i can't have Milo too. i need to do my new Bourjois justice. badly. wah damn unfortunate.
with this, i would also like to take the opportunity to extend the unintended gratitude to xan, who will at the same time also get the blame for what he has landed me in, through all his deeds for the past 4 years.
i'm glad i caught the JohnLittle sale in time. <3 Celine for pushing the Thursday newspaper to me. according to her, Thursday newspapers always have updates on the latest/upcoming sale. NTUC, Guardian, Metro, etc all the departmental/supermarkets/pharmacies. and i so love it. what? - i am soon 24.
rushed down to JohnLittle's Stardust@PlazaSingapura straight after work on Friday. the sale started 22 May, why would i wanna be late? have been lemming for Lynbao's eyeliner since day one - found out from her that it's from Stardust. and tonnes of podders have been providing good reviews on Bourjois, which can also be found in JohnLittle. with the sale, FWAH, i got high. and yes, NTUC link points are also doubled with every dollar you spend in JohnLittle. that's crazy. to sum it up:
1) i'm getting Lynbao's eyeliner,
2) i'm getting my Bourjois,
3) i'm getting these at a discounted rate,
4) and i'm getting 2x link points!
i got there, started squeezing through the OL crowd and jumping at each sales assistant i see available:-
me: HELLO! do you know of an eyeliner that is wrapped black&red and part of it says 'R-A-D-E'?
sales: do you know the brand?
me: no i don't...(almost screaming)!, else i woulda told you. but, i was told that it's from a low profile Japanese brand.
sales: -stare into blank space for a sec- let me check with my colleague. -and goes missing-
me: -grabs another sales assistant-
after doing this for the 4th time or so, i got this really friendly lady, who went on and on about some other brand's liquid liner that doesn't even say 'A-D-E' on, and that how it's really good, and she bought like FOUR in one go etc etc. i had to stop her, "i'm only looking for THIS particular pencil liner (: ". and thankfully, she did direct me to someone who is in the know. lord, just how delighted i was to see that other lady going "there! Naris i believe? it is black&red ........." she just continued introducing while i just stared hard at the product to find 'R-A-D-E'.
*jumped a little* gosh, found it. i looked up and gave them the friendliest TY i can ever offer.
i could have just paid and left but hell, SALES, how can you go home with just one item? that looked really small anyway. i had this intention to get a Bourjois liquid liner but there was no promoter at Bourjois' counter. so, i went searching for the really-friendly-lady and asked her about that liquid liner. it's from Canmake, and it looked good. felt tip instead of brushed, and she claims that it doesn't flake or smudge. it was on 15% + 20%. buy.
went to Suntec on Saturday to give Lynbao support for her dance performance. (have also put on my new Canmake liquid liner and Naris pencil liner. i can hardly keep my purchases new.) Xan and i had Shillawon BBQ buffet before heading over to the convention centre where Lynbao will be at. it is unfortunate how such amazing food has to be hidden in such a corner. i, like everyone else, have been to Kuishinbo so many times to supposedly enjoy their mediocre food, not knowing that Shillawon is just a stone's throw away from it.
hall 603 yesterday was some mad house. i didn't know it was the game fest. so many bloody people. was perspiring badly by the time i got to the other end of the hall to meet Lynbao.
we left immediately after Lynbao's performance. i will vomit if i stay there for any minute longer.
headed to Sgflyer's Kenko. in comparison to the other outlets that i've visited, Sgflyer's is much more noisy. their foot bath machine splashes water. but the therapist i got yesterday was really good. her name is Elaine, i believe.
when i got home, Naris has smudged a little. Canmake was as good as when i've just put it on. it literally worked like a permanent marker. with that, i thought i'm just about to have a hell of a time getting it off my eyelids since my remover was not with me. turns out, not so. it comes off easily with my cleanser. gosh i loveeee this Canmake.
so i went to stardust again earlier today to get 1 more for myself, and 1 for Lynbao. finding it pathetic to get 1 item again, i got some redundant make up remover when i already have my Laneige's, and Bourjois vintage blusher. (:
