la nauseat

went to La Petite Cuisine after reading the reviews.
can't describe how badly sorely uberly disappointed it made me.

it was by chance we found out that LPC does not collect GST nor service charge.
it was also this that made me conclude that i will never visit such eatery again.

without the 10 + 7%, i also got bad service right in my face.
orders to be placed and paid for at the counter was perfectly reasonable. but plates of highly anticipated food with appalling presentation that waiters bochuply dropped from a height of perhaps 6cm right to your table.
be warned if you are seated by a small table and still struggling to complete your appetizer. the coolest waiter will shove your current plate to one corner while you are still poking at it, and drop your main course, stacking the plates together.
right, the waiters will also pretend not to see empty plates and mess on your table. it came to a point where i thought i had to clear up after my meal on my own. scary idea.

oh, poor service aside. ultimately, i wasn't charged that 10% yea.

had foie gras for appetizer. clearly it didn't do what it was tasked to.
the stale, under-cooked delicacy choked my gullet. i had to gulp my snapple to ensure that i clear it.
the dark, sticky sauce was bad. it failed to accentuate the taste of the foie gras. it was as though there to musk all weird taste.

despite being that hungry, i couldn't bring myself to finish my main course (pork colette w pasta). it was basically pork cutlet with spaghetti.
27 hours after that meal, i am still dead disgusted.
the pork cutlet tastes like pig. the spaghetti tastes like flour.
it made me so sick that i very verbally declared "this is revolting!".

initially, i was hoping to try their chocolate cake if i manage to finish my food.
forget it.
